About the Role

Our client is looking for a motivated and organized Assistant Catering Manager to support the Catering Manager in delivering exceptional food and beverage services for events and clients in Bristol . This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing operations, leading teams, and ensuring client satisfaction. You will assist with daily operations, staff supervision, inventory management, and client interactions, contributing to the smooth execution of catering services and upholding the company's standards of quality and service, with a flexible hybrid work arrangement.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Catering Manager in the planning and execution of all catering events.
• Supervise and guide catering staff during service, ensuring high standards of performance and professionalism.
• Help manage inventory levels, conduct stocktakes, and assist with ordering supplies.
• Support client interactions, addressing queries and ensuring their needs are met.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards throughout operations.
• Assist with staff training and development initiatives.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within the catering or hospitality industry.
• Good understanding of catering operations, food preparation, and service standards.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing demands.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
