Assistant Depot Manager / Transport Planner – Based at Cargill PLC, Brocklebank site, Bootle, Merseyside.We’re excited to offer an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to join our prestigious Cargill contract as an Assistant Depot Manager / Transport Planner. We are looking for an enthusiastic, and highly organised individual to join our team. The role will involve:• Supporting the Depot Manager with managing the driver workforce (wages, holidays, compliance etc), maintenance of vehicles, and general administration.• Supporting the Transport Supervisor with the planning and scheduling of bulk vegetable oil deliveries on tankers to customer sites.Key Responsibilities:• Support operational efficiency while ensuring compliance with transport legislation• Maintain accurate records using in-house systems (training will be provided)• Plan and coordinate the delivery and collection of goods to various customer delivery points• Ensure optimal use of fleet and driver resources• Adapt to changes in schedule and resolve transport-related issues promptlyWorking Hours:Monday-Friday, 08:00-17:00 with 1 hour break.This position is office-based, with occasional travel to Cargill’s Witham St Hughs, Lincs site.
