The Role

As Assistant Farm Manager, you'll support the Farm Manager in the day-to-day running of an egg-laying poultry farm, helping to ensure high standards of bird welfare, biosecurity, and egg production.

Key Responsibilities

• Support flock health, welfare, and egg production.
• Monitor production data, feed usage, and flock performance.
• Maintain biosecurity, hygiene, and welfare standards.
• Assist with staff rotas, training, and daily task allocation.
• Keep accurate farm records and support KPI reporting.
• Monitor farm equipment and assist with maintenance.
• Promote health & safety and environmental best practice.

About You

• Experience in poultry or agricultural operations.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and team leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of animal welfare, biosecurity, and farm compliance.
• Basic IT skills and experience using digital reporting systems.
