Location: Cheshire (Near Macclesfield)

Salary: £13.50 per hour

Vacancy Type: Full time or 2 x part-time positions considered

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

A full driving licence and your own transport are essential due to the location and the need to work at other properties on an ad-hoc basis.

The company are looking for a reliable and hardworking Assistant Gardener & Maintenance Operative to join their team.

This is a varied, hands-on role involving general garden, woodland and property maintenance. The successful candidate will take pride in their work and be happy to get involved in a range of tasks to help maintain the grounds and properties to a high standard.

The role will include:

General garden and woodland maintenance. Grass cutting, strimming and use of other garden machinery. General grounds maintenance and upkeep. General labouring and practical maintenance work. Property upkeep and basic maintenance. Safe use and care of power tools and maintenance equipment. Assisting with other trades and general property tasks when required. Working across other properties on an ad-hoc basis.

Reliable and punctual. Hardworking and practical. Enthusiastic and willing to get involved. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Someone who takes pride in maintaining a high standard of work. Comfortable using garden machinery, power tools and maintenance equipment. Flexible and willing to assist with a variety of tasks. A full UK driving licence holder with your own transport. Previous experience in gardening, grounds maintenance, property maintenance or a similar practical role would be an advantage.
