Assistant Headteacher

There is no other school like ours. As the country's first primary school to grow from the recommendations of the Cambridge Primary Review, we were built from the ground up around a single question: what is best for this child? We are looking for an exceptional Assistant Headteacher to lead the pastoral life of our school.

As a member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will lead pastoral care, behaviour and wellbeing across the school, and work with teachers and leaders to improve the quality of teaching. You will also be a Designated Safeguarding Lead. This is a non-teaching post, working closely with the Deputy Headteacher, who holds overall accountability for this area.

We are a large, three-form entry Free School, founded on three principles: inclusion, ambition and innovation. We are known nationally and internationally for our work in areas such as Oracy and Professional Development.
