Assistant Management Accountant

About the Role

Our client is looking for an ambitious and motivated Assistant Management Accountant to support their finance team, serving the Liverpool area remotely. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and variance analysis.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Help maintain the fixed asset register and process depreciation.
• Prepare journal entries and assist with balance sheet reconciliations.
• Provide financial analysis to support operational decision-making.
• Assist with ad-hoc financial reporting and project work as required.

Requirements

• Part-qualified CIMA, ACCA, or ACA, or actively studying towards a qualification.
• Previous experience in an accounting role, preferably with some management accounting exposure.
• Strong Excel skills, including formulas and pivot tables.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
