Assistant Store Manager - Petersfield

Location: Petersfield Salary: £28,000 per annum Hours: 40 hours per week Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm, plus Saturday working between 9:00am-1:00pm as part of the rota Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

We are recruiting for an Assistant Store Manager to join a growing customer-focused business in Petersfield.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone from a retail, sales, customer service or hospitality background who enjoys working in a customer-facing environment and taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of a site.

Working closely with the Store Manager, you will help drive sales, deliver excellent customer service and ensure the site remains safe, secure and well presented.

The Role

Support the Store Manager to maximise sales and convert new customer enquiries Follow up leads quickly by phone, email and in person Build strong relationships with new and existing customers Promote additional products and services Deliver consistently high levels of customer service Support the day-to-day operational running of the site Monitor payments and follow up outstanding accounts Maintain accurate customer records and administration Carry out daily Health & Safety and security checks Ensure the site remains clean, safe and well presented Liaise with contractors and service providers when required Support with invoices and general administration

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Customer focused with a strong sales mentality Confident communicating face-to-face, over the phone and by email Organised and comfortable prioritising their own workload Commercially aware and motivated by achieving results IT literate and comfortable learning new systems Proactive and able to solve problems using their own initiative Comfortable working independently as well as part of a small team Reliable, professional and happy taking responsibility when requiredCandidates from retail management, sales, hospitality, customer service or other commercially focused environments would be well suited.
