About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and ambitious Associate Architect to join their thriving practice in Norwich . This senior role offers the opportunity to take on significant project responsibility, lead design teams, and contribute to the strategic direction of the practice. You will be involved in all project stages, from client engagement and conceptual design through to project completion and delivery. This position is ideal for a motivated professional looking to advance their career and play a key role in shaping the architectural landscape of Norfolk , operating under a flexible hybrid model.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage architectural projects, overseeing design, documentation, and construction phases.
- Develop and present innovative design solutions to clients and stakeholders.
- Mentor and guide junior architects and the wider design team.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Foster strong client relationships and actively seek new business opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building regulations, planning policies, and health and safety standards.
Requirements
- Fully qualified Architect with significant post-qualification experience.
- Proven experience in a leadership or senior role within an architectural practice.
- Expertise in architectural design software , including advanced CAD and BIM proficiency (e.g., Revit).
- In-depth knowledge of UK planning law, building regulations, and construction methodologies.
- Excellent client management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams and complex projects effectively.
