Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the design and delivery of major civil engineering projects, from inception to completion.
• Develop and nurture client relationships, identifying new business opportunities and contributing to proposals.
• Provide senior technical expertise and mentorship to the engineering team, ensuring high standards of quality and innovation.
• Oversee project budgets, programme management, and risk assessment processes.
• Represent the company at client meetings, public consultations, and stakeholder engagements.
• Contribute to the strategic development and growth of the civil engineering division.

Requirements

• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with a recognized professional institution (e.g., ICE, IStructE).
• A minimum of 8 years' relevant experience in civil engineering, with a proven track record in project leadership and client management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of UK planning, design standards, and construction practices.
• Excellent commercial acumen, business development skills, and negotiation abilities.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership qualities.
