Associate Commercial Solicitor

About the Role

Our client is seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Associate Commercial Solicitor to join their busy practice in Belfast . This role offers the chance to work on a diverse range of high-quality commercial matters, servicing a broad client base across Northern Ireland and beyond. You will be integral to advising clients on transactional and advisory work, contributing to the firm's reputation for excellence. The position requires a proactive individual who can manage their own caseload and collaborate effectively with partners and other legal professionals within a supportive and professional UK legal environment, with a flexible hybrid working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including service agreements, partnership deeds, and terms and conditions.
• Advise clients on corporate transactions, such as mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
• Provide legal counsel on regulatory compliance and risk management issues.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions and memoranda.
• Assist in managing client relationships and developing new business opportunities.
• Support senior lawyers on complex litigation and dispute resolution matters.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor in Northern Ireland with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in commercial law.
• Solid understanding of commercial contract law, corporate law, and business structures.
• Experience with due diligence processes and corporate finance transactions is advantageous.
• Excellent client management and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently manage tasks.
• Familiarity with the Northern Ireland legal and business landscape is a plus.
