Beach Baker is delighted to be partnering with a well-established commercial property consultancy to recruit an Associate Director into their growing London Property Management team.

The Opportunity
As an Associate Director, you will take ownership of a commercial property portfolio and act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring assets are managed effectively and aligned with wider investment objectives.
You will work closely with internal teams, external consultants and key stakeholders to deliver a consistent, high-quality service while identifying opportunities to enhance value and occupier satisfaction across the portfolio.
This position would suit an experienced Property Manager seeking greater responsibility and client exposure, or an established Associate Director looking for a fresh challenge within a collaborative and growing business.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a proactive property management service across a commercial portfolio
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, occupiers and professional advisers
- Provide strategic advice to clients on operational and management matters
- Prepare and present regular client reports and portfolio updates
- Monitor income collection, arrears management and tenant performance
- Oversee service charge budgets, expenditure and reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory and health & safety requirements
- Undertake property inspections and identify opportunities to enhance asset performance
- Manage landlord and tenant matters, including licences, consents and lease-related queries
- Support transactional activity including acquisitions, disposals and portfolio transitions
- Work alongside asset management, building consultancy and wider property teams
- Contribute to business development initiatives and client retention activities
- Support and mentor junior surveyors within the team
About You
- Proven experience within commercial property management
- Strong understanding of landlord and tenant matters
- Experience working with investor, property company or occupier clients
- Good knowledge of service charges, budgeting and financial reporting
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Commercially minded with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and client relationships effectively
- Previous mentoring or supervisory experience would be advantageous
- MRICS qualification preferred, although strong non-chartered candidates will be considered
