About you
- Degree qualified in a relevant field
- MRICS membership preferred but not essential; support available for candidates working towards chartership
- Experience in pre and post-contract cost management within a consultancy environment
- Strong understanding of construction contracts (JCT, NEC or similar)
- Proven ability to lead project teams and manage stakeholder relationships
- Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft platforms; CostX experience advantageous
- Demonstrates leadership and business development capabilities
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude
What you’ll do
- Lead the preparation of cost estimates and plans for a variety of projects across sectors
- Provide procurement advice and prepare tender documentation, including Bills of Quantities
- Analyse tenders, produce recommendations, and support contract negotiations
- Manage valuations, payments, and change control processes
- Identify risks and deliver value engineering solutions
- Contribute to stakeholder engagement and project coordination
- Support business development initiatives and foster long-term professional relationships
