Associate Director

Cumming Group is looking for an experienced Associate Director to join our growing Cardiff team. This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone who thrives on developing client relationships, securing new business and delivering high-profile projects across the Real Estate sector.

Working closely with our Senior Director, you'll play a key role in expanding our presence in the market while leading the successful delivery of major commissions from inception through to completion.

What you'll be doing

• Driving business development, networking and work-winning activity across the region.
• Building and strengthening relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Leading bids, presentations and client pitches to secure new commissions.
• Delivering complex construction projects from feasibility through to completion.
• Providing strategic advice on procurement, contracts, risk and project delivery.
• Managing commercial performance, project programmes and financial outcomes.
• Leading, mentoring and developing project teams while maintaining exceptional client service.

We're looking for someone who has

• 8+ years' experience in Project Management or Quantity Surveying within the construction industry.
• A proven track record of winning work and developing long-term client relationships.
• Experience delivering projects within the Real Estate sector.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts.
• Excellent commercial awareness and leadership capability.
• MRICS, MAPM or an equivalent professional qualification (preferred).
