Midlands Based | £60,000+ per year (DOE)
Permanent, Full-Time
Are you an experienced Associate Structural Engineer ready to take the next step in your career and play a key role within a growing engineering consultancy?
Regional Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of an ambitious and expanding organisation based in the Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced structural engineer to take on a senior leadership position, managing a team, developing staff, maintaining key client relationships and working closely with Directors to support the continued growth of the business.
The successful candidate will have strong structural design experience and be comfortable working across a varied range of projects and project scales.

Qualifications
Essential:
Previous experience in a senior or Associate Structural Engineering position
Chartered Engineer (CEng MICE / MIStructE)
Strong structural engineering design experience
Experience managing and developing engineering staff
Key account management and client relationship experience
Experience working towards and achieving KPIs
Desirable:
Expert-level Autodesk Revit Structures
Expert-level Autodesk AutoCAD
Microsoft Outlook proficiency
Experience using MailManager
Roles & Responsibilities
Manage and lead a team of structural engineers and technicians
Support the development, mentoring and progression of team members
Oversee structural design projects across a range of sectors and scales
Maintain and develop key client relationships
Manage key accounts and support continued business development
Monitor team performance and work towards agreed KPIs
Work closely with Directors on business strategy and project delivery
Review structural designs, calculations and technical drawings
Ensure projects are delivered to a high technical standard and within agreed timescales
Requirements
As an Associate Structural Engineer, you will also be expected to:
Be a confident and capable team leader
Have strong technical and commercial awareness
Demonstrate excellent communication and client management skills
Be proactive and motivated to contribute to the growth of the business
Have a strong understanding of structural engineering design and project delivery
