Duties and Responsibilities
- Attendance Administration and Record Keeping - Maintain accurate and up-to-date attendance records, process absence information, produce attendance reports and correspondence, and ensure all attendance-related administration is completed efficiently and in line with school policies and procedures.
- Attendance Monitoring and Improvement - work collaboratively with the relevant Assistant Heads of Year (AHOY) to monitor and analyse student attendance and punctuality, identify patterns of absence and implementing appropriate interventions to improve attendance.
- Student and Family Engagement - Build positive and effective relationships with students, parents and carers to identify and address barriers to regular attendance and punctuality.
- Partnership Working and Support - Work collaboratively with pastoral, safeguarding, external agencies and teaching staff to promote a positive attendance culture and support students to achieve their full academic potential.
