Audit & Accounts Senior
Location: Horsforth, Leeds
Salary: £25,000-£39,000 per annum, depending on experience
An established and growing accountancy practice is looking for an Audit & Accounts Senior to join its team, with excellent opportunities for career progression into a management position.
The Role
You'll take responsibility for a varied portfolio of clients, including:
- Leading statutory audit assignments
- Preparing year-end statutory accounts, including group accounts
- Drafting corporation tax computations
- Supervising and supporting junior team members and trainees
- Assisting with bookkeeping, VAT and client accounting software
- Supporting ad hoc work including tax planning, valuations and due diligence
About You
- At least 2 years' experience in an accountancy practice
- Strong experience in accounts preparation is essential
- Audit experience is desirable but not essential
- AAT, ACA or ACCA qualified/part-qualified is preferred
- Experience with Xero, QuickBooks or Sage
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Confident working independently and supervising junior colleagues
