Audit & Compliance Officer

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Audit & Compliance Officer to support the organisation’s quality, environmental, information security and compliance activities. The experience expected from applicants, as well as additional skills and qualifications needed for this job are listed below.

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct internal audits against ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, maintaining audit schedules and reporting findings. * Support ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 27001 compliance and certification activities. * Manage and maintain risk registers, risk assessments and PESTLE analysis. * Support the investigation and resolution of non-conformances and corrective actions. * Monitor and maintain GDPR/data protection compliance, including audits and security incident investigations. * Support environmental compliance, waste management and regulatory reporting. * Maintain and test Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans. * Coordinate compliance training and support supplier due diligence and compliance reviews. * Prepare compliance reports and support management and external audit activities. * Contribute to the development and review of quality, environmental, information security and compliance policies.

About You

* Minimum 3 years’ experience in audit, compliance, quality or a related role. * ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Internal Auditor certification/experience. * Good working knowledge of GDPR and data protection requirements. * Strong understanding of legal, regulatory and statutory requirements. * ISO 27001 Internal Auditor certification is desirable. * Excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills. * High attention to detail, sound judgement and ability to handle confidential information. * Able to work independently and collaboratively across different teams.
