Responsibilities
As an Audit Director, you will:
- Lead a portfolio of SME audit clients across a diverse range of sectors throughout the South West.
- Oversee the end-to-end audit process, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and successful delivery.
- Act as a trusted adviser to owner-managed businesses and entrepreneurial clients, providing both commercial and strategic guidance.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring the highest standards of service and client satisfaction.
- Identify and assess complex business challenges, highlighting key risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Contribute to the continued growth and success of the firm through leadership, business development, and service excellence initiatives.
Requirements
As an Audit Director, you will need:
- ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
- Extensive experience leading audits for clients across a variety of industries.
- A proven ability to manage substantial client portfolios and oversee multiple engagements simultaneously.
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for coaching, mentoring, and developing high‑performing teams.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities, with a client‑focused approach.
