Audit Senior - Perth

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a qualified Audit Senior to join an established and growing accountancy practice in Perth.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take more ownership of their work, manage audit assignments and begin developing their own client portfolio.

The Role

• Plan and complete audit assignments from start to finish
• Carry out audit fieldwork, including substantive and analytical procedures
• Prepare statutory financial statements from client data
• Identify and highlight key risks or areas of concern
• Take increasing ownership of a varied client portfolio
• Build strong, long-term client relationships
• Coach and support junior members of the audit team
• Work closely with Managers and Partners to ensure assignments are completed efficiently

About You

• ACA / ACCA / CA qualified or equivalent
• Previous audit experience within an accountancy practice
• Experience working with clients across a variety of sectors
• Good working knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP
• Confident planning and completing audit assignments
• Previous experience coaching or mentoring junior staff
