Audit Senior

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and proactive Audit Senior to join their established audit team in Leeds . In this role, you will manage audit engagements from planning through to completion, leading audit teams and ensuring high-quality service delivery to a diverse portfolio of clients. You will play a crucial role in developing junior staff and building strong client relationships, operating within a supportive and growth-oriented professional services environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and finalize audits for a variety of clients across different industries.
• Supervise and mentor junior auditors, providing guidance and constructive feedback.
• Identify and assess risk areas, developing appropriate audit strategies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with clients to gather information, resolve issues, and present findings.
• Prepare high-quality audit reports, management letters, and financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with auditing standards and firm policies.

Requirements

• Qualified ACA or ACCA accountant, or equivalent.
• Proven experience in managing external audit assignments.
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
