Academics are working with a caring and inclusive primary school in Slough that is looking for a dedicated Autism Intervention Support Assistant to join its team from September. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with pupils who benefit from additional emotional and behavioural support, helping them engage positively with school and achieve their potential.

As an Autism Intervention Support Assistant, you will:
Deliver targeted 1:1 and small group interventions for pupils with Autism Support children in developing emotional regulation, resilience, and positive coping strategies Build trusted relationships with pupils to encourage confidence, self-esteem, and engagement in learning Monitor progress and contribute to individual support plans alongside the wider school team Work collaboratively with teachers, the SENCO, parents, and external agencies to provide consistent, high-quality support Promote positive behaviour and help create a calm, inclusive learning environmentThe Ideal Candidate Will:
