Automatic Gate Engineer – North London – Up to £45,000 basic salary per annum
Our client, an established industry leader, seeks an Automatic Gate Engineer to join a full‑time, permanent team covering North London and surrounding areas.
Package Overview
- £37000 – £45000 Basic Salary + Overtime (negotiable based on experience)
- Full‑time, permanent
- Monday to Friday hours
- Work area: North London & surroundings
Role and Responsibilities
- Installation, service, repair, fault‑finding & maintenance of automated gates, barriers, bollards, access systems and related products.
- Field‑based role covering multiple sites.
- Work with a range of manufacturer brands.
- Take responsibility for overall quality of work delivered.
- Effective communication with customers at all times.
- Ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- Provide support to team members where required.
Skills and Experience Required
- Full UK driving licence or equivalent (essential).
- Ideally at least 3 years’ experience within the gate & barrier industry (not essential).
- Open to applicants from all or single disciplines willing to train.
- Knowledge of a range of manufacturers.
- Desirable qualifications: IPAF, CSCS/ECS, DHF/Gate Safe, and/or City & Guilds.
- Positive attitude and ability to self‑motivate.
