Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, program, and implement automated systems, including robotics, PLCs, and HMI interfaces.
• Develop and maintain control system software and hardware for manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with automated systems to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define automation requirements and integrate new systems into existing production lines.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed automation projects.
• Develop and document automation procedures, safety protocols, and maintenance guidelines.
• Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in industrial automation and robotics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in automation engineering , including PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley), robotics (e.g., Fanuc, KUKA), and HMI development.
• Strong understanding of industrial control systems, sensors, and networked communication protocols.
• Experience with CAD software for electrical and mechanical design of automated systems.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting, with strong project management skills.
