About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Automotive Body Shop Technician to join their busy service center in Bristol . You will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicle bodies damaged by collisions, ensuring a high standard of finish and structural integrity. This hands-on role requires expertise in various repair techniques, including panel beating, welding, and refinishing. You will work as part of a dedicated team committed to providing exceptional vehicle repair services and ensuring customer satisfaction through quality workmanship and efficient service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural and cosmetic repairs on vehicle body panels.
• Repair or replace damaged vehicle body components.
• Utilize various tools and equipment, including welders, lifts, and body repair kits.
• Ensure all repairs meet the manufacturer's specifications and industry standards.
• Collaborate with service advisors and other technicians to ensure efficient workflow.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the body shop.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Automotive Body Shop Technician or Panel Beater.
• Proficiency in various repair techniques, including welding, straightening, and filler application.
• Familiarity with automotive body materials and repair methods.
• Ability to read and interpret repair estimates and diagrams.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• A valid UK driving license is preferred.
