About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Automotive Body Shop Technician to join their busy repair centre in Cardiff . This role is critical for restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition, focusing on structural integrity and cosmetic finish. You will work with a variety of vehicles, utilizing modern equipment and techniques to ensure high-quality repairs. Key Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle body repairs, including straightening, patching, and replacing damaged panels.
• Skilled in using various welding and metalworking equipment for structural repairs.
• Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting, ensuring a smooth and flawless finish.
• Fit and align body panels, ensuring proper gaps and fitment.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized workspace in the body shop.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Automotive Body Repairer or similar role.
• Proficiency in vehicle structural repair techniques and modern body shop equipment.
• Experience with MIG/TIG welding and other metal fabrication methods.
• Understanding of vehicle aerodynamics and panel alignment.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately to meet repair deadlines.
