Automotive CAD Designer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a creative and skilled Automotive CAD Designer to join their innovative design studio in Bradford . You will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models and 2D drawings of automotive components, systems, and concepts, translating ideas into tangible designs. This hybrid role offers a balance of in-office collaboration and the flexibility to work remotely, allowing you to contribute to groundbreaking projects while maintaining personal flexibility. Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D models and 2D technical drawings for automotive parts and assemblies using CAD software.
• Collaborate with design engineers and product development teams to refine designs based on functional and aesthetic requirements.
• Ensure designs meet manufacturing, assembly, and performance specifications.
• Prepare presentation-ready renderings and technical documentation for design reviews.
• Maintain and organize CAD data and project files in a structured manner.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a CAD Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing automotive design work.
• Proficiency in industry-standard CAD software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or AutoCAD.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and automotive design principles.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
