About the Role

Our client is seeking an innovative Automotive Electrical Engineer to join their engineering hub in Liverpool . This role is crucial for the design, development, and integration of electrical systems and components within vehicles. You will work on cutting-edge technologies, contributing to the electrical architecture of future vehicle generations, including aspects of infotainment, power management, and advanced driver-assistance systems. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems, including wiring harnesses, ECUs, and power distribution modules.
• Create detailed schematics, layouts, and specifications for electrical components.
• Integrate electrical systems with other vehicle subsystems, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.
• Conduct testing and validation of electrical components and systems to meet performance and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement solutions during vehicle development and production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers and software developers, to ensure seamless integration.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive electrical engineering.
• Proficiency in electrical design tools (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, Altium Designer).
• Strong understanding of automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
• Experience with testing and validation methodologies for automotive electrical systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
