About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Automotive Electrician to join their busy workshop in Plymouth . You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in a variety of vehicles. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical components function correctly, contributing to vehicle safety and performance. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on individual with a strong understanding of automotive electrical principles to work within a supportive team and develop their career in the automotive repair sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair faults in vehicle electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, batteries, and alternators.
• Install and maintain electrical components, accessories, and communication systems.
• Perform routine electrical system checks and preventative maintenance.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
• Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Automotive Electrician or qualified vehicle technician with an electrical specialization.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, including schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools and multimeters.
• Good understanding of vehicle safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
