Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electronic circuits and PCBs for automotive applications, considering factors like thermal management, EMC, and vibration.
- Specify and select electronic components suitable for automotive environments and long-term reliability.
- Develop and execute test plans for electronic modules and systems, including functional, performance, and environmental testing.
- Collaborate with software engineers to ensure seamless hardware-software integration for automotive ECUs.
- Analyze and troubleshoot electronic hardware failures, implementing corrective actions and design improvements.
- Contribute to the definition of automotive electronic system requirements and architectures.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 4 years of experience in automotive electronics hardware design and development.
- Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro).
- Solid understanding of automotive power electronics, microcontrollers, sensors, and communication interfaces (e.g., CAN, FlexRay).
- Experience with electronic component selection and vendor management for automotive-grade parts.
- Knowledge of automotive quality standards and development processes (e.g., ISO 26262, IATF 16949).
