Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive electronic faults using advanced diagnostic tools.
- Perform installations and upgrades of electronic components, including audio systems, navigation, and sensor arrays.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of vehicle electronic systems.
- Interpret wiring diagrams and technical service bulletins accurately.
- Collaborate with service advisors to provide clear explanations of diagnosed issues and proposed repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician with a specialization in electronics.
- In-depth knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and electronic component functions.
- Proficiency with diagnostic scanners, oscilloscopes, and other electronic testing equipment.
- Relevant vocational training or certifications (e.g., City & Guilds, IMI qualifications).
- Ability to read and understand complex technical schematics and manuals.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
