About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled Automotive Electronics Technician to join their innovative team in Nottingham . This role focuses on the installation, maintenance, and repair of complex electronic systems within vehicles. You will be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting a wide range of electronic issues, ensuring the optimal functioning of integrated vehicle technologies. Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex automotive electronic systems, including infotainment, navigation, and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS).
• Install and configure new electronic components and software updates in vehicles.
• Perform routine maintenance and diagnostic checks on electronic systems to prevent potential failures.
• Utilize specialized diagnostic equipment, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and software tools to identify and resolve electronic issues.
• Maintain accurate records of all repair work performed, including parts used and time taken.

Requirements

• Relevant technical qualification or certification in Automotive Electronics or a related field (e.g., City & Guilds Level 3).
• Proven experience working as an Automotive Electronics Technician or similar role.
• Strong understanding of automotive electrical principles and electronic components.
• Proficiency with diagnostic software and electronic testing equipment.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adhere to safety procedures.
