About the Role

Our client, a prominent automotive dealership in Milton Keynes , is seeking an organized and customer-focused Automotive Parts Advisor . You will play a vital role in managing the parts department, ensuring that mechanics and customers receive the correct parts and accessories promptly. This hybrid role involves both on-site and potential remote support, requiring excellent communication and inventory management skills to keep the workshop running smoothly and customer orders fulfilled accurately within Buckinghamshire .

Key Responsibilities

• Assist workshop technicians and retail customers in identifying and sourcing required vehicle parts and accessories.
• Process parts orders accurately using the dealership's management system.
• Manage parts inventory, including receiving, stocking, and conducting regular stock checks.
• Handle customer inquiries regarding parts availability, pricing, and delivery times.
• Maintain a clean and organized parts department, ensuring safety and efficiency.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an automotive parts department or similar retail environment.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle makes, models, and their associated parts.
• Proficiency in using parts ordering software and inventory management systems.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and managing stock levels.
