Key Responsibilities

• Identify and source correct vehicle parts for both internal workshop staff and external retail customers using parts catalogues and electronic systems.
• Process customer orders accurately, managing stock levels and proactively reordering parts.
• Provide technical advice and guidance to customers on parts suitability and availability.
• Maintain an organised and efficient parts department, including stocktaking and inventory control.
• Handle customer queries and complaints professionally, aiming for first-contact resolution.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an automotive parts department or a similar customer-facing role.
• Good knowledge of vehicle makes, models, and associated parts.
• Proficiency in using electronic parts catalogues and inventory management systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and helpful demeanour.
• A methodical approach to stock management and order processing.
