Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate automotive powertrain components and systems, including internal combustion engines, electric powertrains, and hybrid systems.
• Conduct performance analysis, simulations, and testing to optimize power output, fuel efficiency, and emissions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including vehicle integration, electronics, and software departments, to ensure seamless powertrain integration.
• Develop technical specifications and requirements for powertrain components and subsystems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve powertrain-related issues encountered during development, testing, or production.
• Stay informed about emerging powertrain technologies and industry trends, contributing innovative ideas for future development.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in automotive powertrain development, focusing on internal combustion engines, electric motors, or hybrid powertrains.
• Proficiency with powertrain simulation tools (e.g., GT-SUITE, MATLAB/Simulink) and data acquisition systems.
• Understanding of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and combustion principles.
• Experience with vehicle testing procedures and validation processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
