About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Automotive Quality Control Inspector to join their established manufacturing facility in Belfast . This role is essential for ensuring that all vehicles and components meet stringent quality and safety standards before they reach our customers. You will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections, identifying defects, and documenting findings to drive continuous improvement in production processes. The ideal candidate possesses a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of automotive manufacturing principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive visual and functional inspections of finished vehicles and automotive components at various stages of production.
- Utilize measurement tools and testing equipment to verify adherence to specifications and quality benchmarks.
- Identify, document, and report any non-conformities, defects, or potential quality issues accurately and promptly.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to investigate root causes of quality problems and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and quality data using company systems.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements for automotive quality.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quality Control Inspector, preferably within the automotive industry .
- Strong understanding of automotive manufacturing processes and quality control methodologies.
- Proficiency in using measuring instruments and testing equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
