About the Role

Our client is looking for an engaging and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join their reputable dealership in Coventry . You will be the primary point of contact for customers, managing their service appointments, explaining necessary repairs, and ensuring a seamless experience from check-in to collection. This role is crucial for maintaining customer loyalty and driving service department revenue. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a genuine passion for the automotive industry, acting as the vital link between the customer and the technical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly, schedule service appointments, and accurately record vehicle details and customer needs.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues, repair estimates, and service progress.
• Upsell additional services and products where appropriate, explaining their benefits to the customer.
• Liaise with the workshop technicians to ensure efficient turnaround times and high-quality repairs.
• Handle customer queries and complaints professionally, resolving issues to their satisfaction.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within the automotive sector as a Service Advisor .
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Strong organisational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Familiarity with automotive terminology and repair processes.
• A valid UK driving licence.
