About the Role

Our client is seeking an engaging and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to manage the service reception at their dealership in Southampton . You will be the primary point of contact for customers bringing their vehicles in for maintenance and repair, building rapport and ensuring a seamless experience. This role requires excellent communication, organisational skills, and a strong understanding of automotive services. Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and professionally, assessing their vehicle service needs.
• Create accurate job cards, detailing services requested and any identified issues.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair estimates, progress, and completion times.
• Book appointments and manage the workshop's appointment schedule efficiently.
• Liaise between customers and technicians, ensuring clear and concise information exchange.
• Handle customer queries and complaints with a calm and solutions-oriented approach.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer-facing role within the automotive industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust.
