About the Role

Our client is searching for a customer-focused and organized Automotive Service Advisor to manage customer interactions and vehicle service scheduling at their prominent dealership in Coventry . This role is the primary point of contact for customers, requiring excellent communication skills to understand their needs, explain technical issues clearly, and ensure a seamless service experience. You will play a crucial role in maintaining customer loyalty and driving workshop efficiency, acting as the vital link between the customer and the technical team, ensuring transparency and satisfaction throughout the service process.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and professionally, actively listening to their concerns regarding vehicle service or repair needs.
• Accurately record customer requirements and vehicle details into the workshop management system.
• Inspect vehicles with customers to identify any additional service or repair requirements beyond their initial request.
• Provide clear, concise explanations of recommended services, associated costs, and estimated completion times.
• Schedule service appointments and manage workshop capacity to ensure efficient workflow and timely vehicle turnaround.
• Process repair orders, collect payments, and ensure customer satisfaction upon vehicle collection.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer-facing role within the automotive industry is highly desirable.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in using dealership management systems and standard office software.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
