Automotive Service Advisor

About the Role

Our client is looking for a friendly and efficient Automotive Service Advisor to join their service department in Stoke-on-Trent . This crucial role acts as the primary point of contact for customers bringing their vehicles in for maintenance or repair. You will be responsible for booking appointments, accurately recording customer requests, and liaising between customers and the workshop technicians. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of automotive services, ensuring a smooth and positive customer experience in Staffordshire .

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers professionally and efficiently book vehicles in for service or repair.
• Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately record vehicle issues.
• Provide customers with clear explanations of required work, associated costs, and estimated completion times.
• Co-ordinate with the workshop team to ensure timely completion of services.
• Process invoices and payments accurately and efficiently.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with the service provided.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in a customer-facing role.
• Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair processes.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
• Familiarity with automotive workshop operations and software.
• A positive attitude and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
