About the Role

Our client is seeking a friendly and efficient Automotive Service Advisor to join their busy service department in Nottingham . As the first point of contact for customers, you will be responsible for greeting them, scheduling service appointments, and clearly communicating necessary repairs and maintenance. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service within the automotive aftermarket . You will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction and facilitating smooth operations at the Nottinghamshire dealership.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and professionally upon arrival at the service center.
• Schedule service appointments and manage the service bay workload effectively.
• Listen to customer concerns, accurately document vehicle issues, and advise on necessary services.
• Provide accurate estimates for repairs and maintenance, obtaining customer authorization.
• Communicate clearly with technicians to ensure all work is performed correctly and efficiently.
• Follow up with customers after service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer-facing role within the automotive industry is preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in using automotive service scheduling software and basic computer skills.
• A customer-centric attitude with a commitment to providing a positive service experience.
• Valid UK driving license.
