About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented Automotive Software Engineer specializing in Embedded Systems to join their innovative development team in Leeds . This role involves designing, developing, and implementing complex software solutions for automotive control units, infotainment systems, and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and debug embedded software for automotive ECUs and microcontrollers.
• Implement software following automotive standards such as AUTOSAR, MISRA C/C++, and ISO 26262.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and system architecture.
• Develop and execute unit tests and integration tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Optimize software performance for real-time operation and resource-constrained environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in embedded software development, preferably within the automotive industry .
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming and experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Familiarity with automotive communication protocols like CAN, LIN, and Automotive Ethernet.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and software development lifecycle tools.
