Automotive Systems Integration Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Automotive Systems Integration Engineer to join their team in Oxford . This role is crucial for ensuring the seamless integration and optimal performance of various vehicle systems, from powertrain and chassis to electronics and infotainment. You will work closely with diverse engineering teams to define integration strategies, conduct system-level testing, and resolve complex interdisciplinary issues. Key Responsibilities

• Define and manage system integration requirements and interfaces for vehicle projects.
• Develop and execute system-level validation and verification test plans.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues across multiple vehicle domains (e.g., mechanical, electrical, software).
• Collaborate with domain engineers to ensure compatibility and optimal performance of integrated systems.
• Document system integration processes, test results, and issue resolutions for Oxford -based projects.
• Liaise with suppliers and external partners to ensure successful integration of third-party components.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in automotive systems integration or a related role.
• Strong understanding of vehicle architectures, including powertrain, chassis, body, and electronics.
• Experience with systems engineering tools and methodologies (e.g., Model-Based Systems Engineering - MBSE).
• Familiarity with automotive communication protocols and diagnostic tools.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills for work in Oxford .
