About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test plans and procedures for automotive components and systems.
• Set up and operate various testing equipment, including dynamometers, environmental chambers, and data acquisition systems.
• Execute tests according to established protocols, meticulously documenting all results and observations.
• Analyze test data, identify potential issues or areas for improvement, and generate detailed test reports.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot failures and validate corrective actions.
• Ensure that all testing activities are conducted in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in Leeds .

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive) or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience in test engineering, with a strong preference for experience in the automotive industry .
• Proficiency with data acquisition systems and test automation software.
• Experience with various testing methodologies, including performance, durability, and environmental testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
