About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Aviation Compliance Manager to lead their compliance efforts from a fully remote position, supporting operations connected to Leeds, West Yorkshire . This role is crucial for ensuring that all aviation activities adhere strictly to national and international regulations, standards, and company policies. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive compliance programs, conducting internal audits, and staying abreast of evolving regulatory landscapes. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain robust compliance programs for all aviation-related operations.
• Conduct regular internal audits and assessments to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (e.g., EASA, UK CAA, ICAO).
• Stay updated on all relevant aviation laws, regulations, and industry best practices, advising management on necessary changes.
• Manage relationships with regulatory bodies and facilitate external audits and inspections.
• Develop and deliver compliance training to employees across various departments.
• Investigate potential compliance breaches and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in aviation compliance or regulatory affairs, preferably within an airline, MRO, or aviation authority setting.
• In-depth knowledge of international and UK aviation regulations and safety standards.
• Proven ability to develop and implement effective compliance management systems.
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with internal teams and external regulators remotely.
• Relevant degree in Aviation Management, Law, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
