About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Aviation Compliance Manager to oversee regulatory adherence for their operations based in Belfast . This critical role ensures that all aviation activities meet stringent national and international standards. You will lead the compliance team, developing and implementing policies and procedures to guarantee adherence to aviation law and safety regulations. This hybrid position allows for a blend of on-site strategic planning and off-site operational oversight, providing flexibility while maintaining essential oversight. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance programs for aviation operations.
- Monitor changes in aviation regulations and advise on necessary policy updates.
- Conduct internal audits and assessments to ensure adherence to standards set by the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) .
- Manage regulatory relationships and facilitate inspections by external authorities.
- Oversee the documentation and record-keeping necessary for regulatory compliance.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on compliance requirements and best practices.
Requirements
- Degree in Aviation Management, Law, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in aviation compliance or regulatory affairs.
- In-depth knowledge of UK and international aviation regulations (e.g., EASA, CAA).
- Experience in developing and managing compliance frameworks and audit processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to manage a team and liaise with stakeholders.
