About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Aviation Ground Operations Manager to lead their operations at the airport in Plymouth . This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and punctual handling of all aircraft on the ground, managing a team of ground crew personnel. You will be crucial in maintaining operational excellence, coordinating with various stakeholders, and upholding the highest safety and service standards within the fast-paced airport environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all aspects of aircraft ground handling operations, including baggage, cargo, and passenger services.
• Ensure adherence to all safety regulations, operational procedures, and company policies.
• Develop and implement efficient turnaround processes to minimize aircraft ground time.
• Lead, train, and motivate the ground operations team, fostering a culture of safety and efficiency.
• Coordinate with flight crews, air traffic control, and other airport services to ensure seamless operations.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience in aviation ground operations management or a similar leadership role.
