About the Role

Our client is seeking an organized and proactive Aviation Ground Operations Supervisor for their operations based in Reading . This role is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all ground handling activities, ensuring the efficient and safe turnaround of aircraft. You will lead a team of ground crew, manage resource allocation, and liaise with various stakeholders to maintain high operational standards, offering a hybrid working model that balances operational needs with flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct ground handling staff, ensuring safe and efficient execution of all ground operations.
• Coordinate aircraft turnaround processes, including baggage handling, fueling, catering, and marshalling.
• Monitor flight schedules and operational requirements, adjusting resources as needed to meet demands.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, security procedures, and company policies related to ground operations.
• Train new team members and provide ongoing coaching to enhance performance and adherence to best practices.

Requirements

• Previous experience in aviation ground operations, ramp handling, or airline supervision.
