About the Role

Our client seeks a detail-oriented Aviation Operations Analyst to join their dynamic team in Manchester . This role focuses on collecting, analyzing, and interpreting operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement across flight operations and ground handling. You will work closely with various departments to provide data-driven insights that support strategic decision-making and enhance operational performance. Key Responsibilities

• Collect, validate, and analyze operational data related to flight schedules, aircraft utilization, and performance metrics.
• Develop dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for management review.
• Identify trends and anomalies in operational data, performing root cause analysis for performance deviations.
• Collaborate with flight planning , maintenance, and ground operations teams to provide analytical support.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives based on data-driven recommendations.
• Maintain databases and ensure the integrity of operational data.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in an analytical role within the aviation industry .
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong understanding of aviation operations, including flight planning and ground handling processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
