About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Aviation Project Engineer to manage key projects within their engineering division, based in Reading . This role will involve overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of aviation-related engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required technical specifications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and clients, acting as a key liaison to drive project success. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire lifecycle of aviation engineering projects, from conception and planning through to execution and closure.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
- Coordinate with design engineers, manufacturing teams, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project progress.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing potential issues and challenges.
- Monitor project performance, track key milestones, and provide regular progress reports to senior management.
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant aviation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in project management within the aviation or aerospace industry.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, aircraft systems, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in project management software and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
