Aviation Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Aviation Project Manager to oversee key projects within their operations based in Milton Keynes . You will be responsible for the planning, execution, and successful completion of aviation-related projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a blend of technical aviation knowledge and robust project management expertise, collaborating with engineering, operations, and external stakeholders to drive project success in a hybrid working model.

Key Responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Oversee project execution, monitor progress, and manage risks and issues proactively.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant aviation regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
• Manage project budgets and control costs effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, fostering effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably within the aviation industry.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex projects from initiation to closure.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing office and remote work.
• Relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable.
